Definitions

Suicide Bombing:
Suicide Bombing (also known as suicide attack, homicide bombing, or "kamikaze") is an attack intended to kill others and inflict widespread damage, in which the attacker expects or intends to die in the process. ~Wikipedia
Drone Attack:
An attack by a flying Drone - An unmanned combat air vehicle (UCAV) –thatis designed to deliver weapons (attack targets) without an onboard pilot. ~ Wikipedia
Civilian:
One who is not on active duty in the armed services or police or firefighting force. One who does not belong to any terrorist group or anti-government organization. ~ Webster
Foreigner:
A person belonging to or owing allegiance to a foreign country.One not native to a place or community.~ Webster
Terrorist:
A person who is against a government, or a particular sect, ideology, or group, and uses terrorism in the pursuit of political aims. He/she can be a local or foreigner.
Taliban:
Taliban as a category for PBC, is one who belongs to any of Taliban's militia groups engaged in fighting in Afghanistan and/or Pakistan against the government. He/she can be associated with any sister groups like Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Fedayeen al-Islam, Tehreek-e-Nafaz-e-Shariat-e-Mohammadi etc.
Injured:
Any physical damage to the body caused by a drone strike or suicide bombing attack. Injuries can be direct by blast waves and shrapnel or can be in-direct due to building collapse or stampede while rushing from the scene of the attack.
Killed:
An act of termination of life due to primary, secondary, or tertiary injuries by a suicide bombing attack or a drone strike. People who died afterwards in the hospitals due to severe injuries caused by the attack are also counted towards total Killed in PBC data.
Al Qaeda:
Al-Qaeda is a global militant group founded by Osama Bin Laden to fight against government for political gains.

Children:
A young human being below the age of full physical development or below the legal age of majority. For PBC data we are counting all below the age of 12 (male or female) as children.
